Comedian and digital creator Druski has signed a multiyear production partnership with Netflix through his company 4LIFERS Entertainment, headlined by the upcoming comedy series Collect & Praise. Scheduled to premiere on December 1, the semi-scripted show stars Druski alongside comedy veteran Mike Epps as leaders of a lavish megachurch.
Collect & Praise expands on a viral short-form character Druski introduced on January 12, which generated more than nine million likes on TikTok. In the series, Druski plays a flamboyant, fortune-obsessed megachurch pastor who teams up with his scheming deacon, portrayed by Epps, to prioritize church revenue over spiritual devotion.
The semi-scripted format blends structured narrative arcs with the improvisational character humor that propelled Druski to massive online popularity. Netflix executive John Derderian, who oversees Next Gen Content at the streamer, praised the comedian’s talent for creating unforgettable characters that spark cultural conversation.
Multiyear Pact Includes Existing 4LIFERS Digital Catalog
In addition to funding new original series and specials, the multiyear pact allows Netflix to license several popular titles from Druski’s existing independent catalog. Subscribers will gain access to past 4LIFERS Entertainment productions including Coulda Been Love, Coulda Been Daddy, and Coulda Been Records Auditions, alongside a curated collection of his viral sketches.
Druski noted in a statement that he built his career by developing relatable comedic personas for social media and live arena tours. He added that partnering with a global streaming platform provides 4LIFERS Entertainment with the production scale to bring original programming to international audiences.
Industry coverage across Entertainment highlights how major streaming services are increasingly signing multi-project deals with top independent digital creators. The arrangement bridges short-form social video and long-form television production.
Milestone Week Culminates in Saturday Night Live Hosting Debut
The Netflix announcement arrives during a landmark week for the comedian, who is scheduled to host Saturday Night Live on November 7. With that appearance, Druski will make television history as the first digital content creator to headline the long-running NBC sketch institution.
Pairing Druski with veteran stand-up and film actor Mike Epps gives Collect & Praise cross-generational comedic appeal ahead of its December launch. Epps, who has starred in multiple Netflix comedy specials and sitcoms, serves as a key comedic foil throughout the first season.
Improvisational Format Expands Viral Sketch Universe
By adopting a semi-scripted structure, Collect & Praise allows Druski and Epps to riff off unscripted congregation reactions while satirizing the spectacle of modern megachurch empires. Production teams filmed the inaugural episodes on location with full choir arrangements and elaborate stage sets.
All episodes of Collect & Praise will drop globally on Netflix on December 1, accompanied by the licensed library of Coulda Been reality and audition specials. Development is already underway on follow-up unscripted and narrative projects under the multiyear 4LIFERS banner.
Over the past three years, Druski has expanded his comedy empire from viral social media character sketches into sold-out arena tours, major brand campaigns, and feature film appearances. Industry analysts note that his ability to mobilize millions of young viewers online makes him an attractive partner for subscription streaming platforms.
With his historic Saturday Night Live hosting turn on November 7 followed three weeks later by the global launch of Collect & Praise on December 1, November and December mark a defining crossover moment for the comedian. Netflix will release an official full-length trailer for the megachurch series later this month.
